Dick got the car for a graduation present
from college from his parents for $1800. We took it on our honeymoon
in 1973 to the Oregon coast. We had the car painted in 1993  for our
20th anniversary present to each other. In 1998 we went back
to the Oregon coast in our Thunderbird for our 25th anniversary.
The bird also was used for bringing our two oldest children home
from the hospital when they were born. 32 years later we still
have the Thunderbird and have promised it to our youngest child
whenever Dick is finished playing with it. |
